HOUSEABILITY Aberdeenshire, Peterhead. Formally named “Disabled Persons Housing Service (Aberdeenshire) Ltd”, rebranded back in 2010 to our trading name “HOUSEABILITY”.

HOUSEABILITY Aberdeenshire are a registered charity and have been working successfully with clients since 2003 when we recruited our first member of staff .

HOUSEABILITY Aberdeenshire are an independent organisation governed by a board of volunteers and are funded primarily through a contract with Aberdeenshire Council. Provide impartial housing advice, information and advocacy to clients with disabilities or health problems who live in Aberdeenshire, or wish to relocate to the area.

Provide intensive, high quality and personal services involving one to one tailored support and home visits. This FREE support is client led, completely impartial and  confidential.

Work with the full range of disabilities for all ages including physical disability, mental health, learning difficulty, sensory impairment and long-term health problems, and offer advice on housing options, homelessness, adaptations, housing benefit, neighbour issues, rent arrears, disrepair and many other housing related queries.

Office is located at 1 Carters Close, Peterhead where our two members of staff are based. The Service covers the whole of Aberdeenshire and we work with those living in the area, or wishing to relocate here.
