Peterhead Remembrance Day Parade Sunday falls on 10 November in 2024

Remembrance Parade to be led by Royal British Legion Scotland – Peterhead Branch.

Sunday 10th November is Remembrance Sunday.

This year’s parade will step off from Broad Street at approximately 1030hrs. Those individuals or organisations wishing to participate should arrive at 1000hrs

The Parade will make its way from Broad Street, Marischal Street, Kirk Street and arrive at the Peterhead War Memorial at approximately 1040hrs.

In a change from previous years, the 2 minutes silence will be observed at 1100hrs at the War Memorial. Previously, this was observed during the church service.

Remembrance Sunday is a national opportunity to remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.

Rolling road closure for Remembrance Day Parade:

Broad Street, Marischal Street, Errol Street, Kirk Street, South Road, St Peter Street, Prince Street and Thistle Street Peterhead

Remembrance Sunday is not a public holiday. It falls on Sunday, November 10, 2024 and most businesses follow regular Sunday opening hours
