Remembrance Day Parade 2023

Peterhead Remembrance Day Parade Sunday falls on 12 November in 2023

Remembrance Parade to be led by Royal British Legion Scotland – Peterhead Branch.

Sunday 12th November is Remembrance Sunday.

Parade will form up at Broad Street at 09:30, stepping off at 09:45 and arrive at the Cenotaph at South Road approximately 10:05 for a short service and wreath laying leaving 10:25 and march to the New Parish church opposite the library for approximately 10:40 for a church service, then form up at 11:50 and march back to Broad Street for dismissal.

There will be refreshments in the Masonic hall afterwards for those how wish.

The general public is encouraged to watch and veterans and serving personnel are encouraged to march with the Royal British Legion Scotland – Peterhead Branch contingent on the day, medals and head dress.

Rolling road closure for Remembrance Day Parade:

Broad Street, Marischal Street, Errol Street, Kirk Street, South Road, St Peter Street, Prince Street and Thistle Street Peterhead

Remembrance Sunday is not a public holiday. It falls on Sunday, November 12, 2024 and most businesses follow regular Sunday opening hours
