Fire crews successfully tackled a blaze at Ugie Beach in Peterhead last night.
Fire crews successfully tackled a blaze at Ugie Beach in Peterhead last night.
The grass fire was reported shortly before 9pm in the sand dunes near Peterhead Golf Course.
Three fire appliances attended the scene from Peterhead and Maud, with crews working from the Golf Road area.
Firefighters remained at the scene for almost two hours, bringing the fire under control before leaving around 11pm.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been confirmed.
