Tomorrow SEPA issued for part of Aberdeenshire Flood Warnings for (Aberdeen, Peterhead, Boddam, Rosehearty, Fraserburgh, Stonehaven)
Aberdeen (Dee)
Flooding of areas in and around Riverside Drive is possible around high tide. High tide occurs at 02:17 on the 23rd March 2023 and again at 14:20 on the 23rd March 2023.
Peterhead to Boddam
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low-lying land, roads and properties along the Aberdeenshire coast from Peterhead to Boddam. Wave overtopping is expected to affect low-lying parts of Roanheads. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of Thursday’s high tide at 13.45 (GMT)
Rosehearty to Fraserburgh
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected to affect low lying land, roads and properties along the Moray Firth from Rosehearty to Fraserburgh. Flooding impacts are expected around the times of the high tides on Thursday 23rd March, around 00:45-02:45 and again around 12:45-14:45. Flooding in and around low lying parts of Sandhaven is possible. Wave overtopping is expected to affect low lying parts of Fraserburgh.
Stonehaven
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea may affect low-lying land, roads and properties along the coast in Stonehaven. Moderately strong southerly winds mean that the Boatie Row area may be impacted by wave overtopping around the time of high water early Thursday morning (0200 to 0300 GMT) and Thursday afternoon (14.15 to 14.30 GMT)
