Winds Across Scotland with Yellow Weather Warning
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for winds across Scotland from 8pm on Tuesday.
Strong winds expected to bring some disruption to parts of Scotland.
Tuesday 20:00 – Wednesday 10:00
The warning area has been reduced a little such that the focus is across northern Scotland. The end time has also been brought forward.

What to expect
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely
- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges likely
- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible
- It’s likely that some coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves
