The Buchan Heritage Society at Strichen Festival is one of the finest places to appreciate our rich tradition of music, song, verse, drama and story
The Festival starts on Friday 20th May
With Ceilidh dancing to the Garioch Blend in the Ritchie Hall in Strichen at 8-00pm.
Tickets at the door £7-50.
The dance is also licenced.
Saturday see’s the competitions taking place in the Ritchie Hall, Strichen School and the British Legion Club.
Competitions are Bothy Ballad Singing, Doric Verse, Accordion, Fiddle and Story Telling.
Saturday 21st May evening at 7-00pm is the Sandy May memorial concert.
Tickets at the door are £5-00.
All proceeds to the Vasculitis Research Charity.
