Amazing Northern Lights to be seen across Scotland 27.09
The Northern lights could be visible across the Scotland tonight as a powerful solar storm hits the earth’s atmosphere.
Solar storms can impact satellites and disrupt global communications, as well as enhance the Aurora borealis.
The Met Office said: ‘’The solar storm is expected to hit earth this evening from 10pm until 3am and will be seen across Scotland”
‘’On September 27-28, minor to moderate geomagnetic activity is likely, resulting in enhanced Aurora activity.’’
Skies are expected to be cloud free for most parts of the UK tonight, so you have a good chance of seeing the Aurora.
