SEPA an Issued New Flood Alert Has Been on 5 January
A FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City.
Heavy rain is forecast to affect this area on Thursday evening and overnight into Friday.
When combined with the effect of melting snow, this could lead to some flooding from surface water and small watercourses, especially where the ground is already saturated.
Potential impacts include flooding of land and roads, and localised disruption to travel.
The greatest risk will be in the west of the area.
