Campaign for North East Rail are launching #connectPeterhead, a new campaign delivering the message that Ellon isn’t far enough, and Peterhead must be connected to the rail network in the first instance, and need your help!
Utilising the Boddam branch is the best way of reaching Peterhead railway, and it has never been studied.
The campaign’s aims include a railway linking Fraserburgh and Peterhead with Aberdeen.
This applies to both business and environmental.
Campaign for North East Rail can get all the way to the coast in one go using this route.
A new feasibility study is coming, Campaign for North East Rail have to make sure this option is finally examined!

#connectPeterhead focusses on the largest town in Aberdeenshire and aims to ensure this project does not stop at Ellon.
CNER will soon be producing a new document which will lay out exactly what should be covered by this new feasibility study, and options for Fraserburgh will be included.
The deal text commits to exploring both Peterhead and Fraserburgh, and we will hold them to that promise.
