CRUDEN BAY POST OFFICE RE-OPENS AFTER MAJOR BUILDING WORK & NEW EXTENSION FOR CO-OP FRANCHISE STORE

A new Co-op franchise convenience store added
Refurbishment of the premises
Mobile Post Office provided interim solution

Cruden Bay Post Office has re-opened today (2/4) after major building work to extend the premises at Main Street, Cruden Bay, Peterhead, AB42 0NA.

An extension was added to provide a lot more retail space. A Co-op franchise store has been added. There is an open-plan counter alongside the retail counter.

The whole project took six months because of the amount of building work and refurbishment.

A part-time Mobile Post Office service operated close to the existing branch whilst the work was taking place.

There are now full-time hours for Cruden Bay Post Office again. The opening hours are Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.

Post Office Branch Projects Manager, Liam Mills, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to have a full-time branch for Cruden Bay in this great-looking shop.

“We are pleased to thank the postmaster for Turriff for proving a Mobile Post Office service for Cruden Bay in the interim.”
