Cruden Bay Post Office is to be short-term temporarily closed for major building work to extend the premises at Main Street, Cruden Bay, Peterhead, AB42 0NA.

A new convenience store will be added with an open-plan counter alongside the retail counter.

The work will take approximately just over two months to complete. The branch is due to close on Saturday 27 September at 12.30pm and it is due to re-open on Thursday 4 December at 9am.

Clerkhill Post Office, Clerkhill Road, Peterhead, AB42 2XE

David Duff, Post Office Area Change Manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work. The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it is necessary for the service to close temporarily. The community will benefit from a modern convenience store and Post Office after the work is done.”
