the R.A.F. Red Arrows Display Team will make its comeback to ‘Peterhead Scottish Week’.
Attention all vessels in Peterhead Bay and vessel traffic service Area Red Arrows Display and Fly Past for Scottish Week is scheduled for Wednesday 21st July from 19:00-19:30.
There will be no vessel movements within Peterhead Bay during this period. Drone activity is prohibited.
The event is co-sponsored by Peterhead Port Authority, ASCO and MDL (Marine Development Limited).
The ‘41Club’ will host a kipper barbecue and Pipe Bands will play from 6:30pm.
There is a road closure notice in place on South Road, from the Skerry Drive junction to the Links Terrace junction.
No traffic to park along South Road within the closed section.
The Lido Car Park will be closed to all traffic. Please make alternative arrangements for parking that day.
The Lido Caravan Park has agreed that there is limited access down the brae. Only one car per caravan.
Please be respectful to the marshals operating the road.
Please adhere to Scottish Government Guidelines and follow Social Distancing.

A week-long multi-disciplinary programme of cultural events across the Aberdeenshire town of Peterhead.
Peterhead on Scottish Week aka The Blue Toun including a Red Arrows air show, Peterhead Producers Market, truck show, competitions, entertainment and the all-important crowning of the Buchan Queen and Princesses.
Since 1961 Scotland and other parts of the World have celebrated our nationality and the produce of Scotland by holding a gala festival of celebration called Scottish Week.
Many towns and villages throughout Scotland held events. In the UK only Peterhead, Aberdeenshire still celebrate it as do New York in America.
The Peterhead Scottish Week committee are on the look out for former Buchan Queens and Buchan Princesses to nominate themselves for this year’s Buchan Queen
What is Scotland Week – also known as Tartan Week – is a wonderful event where more than 15 million North Americans come together and celebrate all things Scotland. Among the highlights in 2019 was Scottish comedy legend, Sir Billy Connolly, as the NYC Tartan Day Parade Grand Marshal.
