The rescue process of two dolphins up onto beach
This morning two dolphins washed up onto Aberdeenshire beach near Fraserburgh
About 7 o’clock this morning, a resident found dolphins washed up onto the local beach.
The white beaked dolphins were under supervision looked after by BDMLR medics and being assessed in Aberdeenshire beach, near Fraserburgh.
Both dolphins looked after for over 10 hours with blankets placed on them and water continuously on them, to keep them stable, waiting for the tide.
The first dolphin got carried out and took a while to get used to the water again, the second one returned and was guided out again.
They have been refloated with the help of the RNLI.
Hopefully they will both survive this incident.
Well done to all who help the dolphins through their ordeal.
Thank you James Y. for send in pics and video.
