Spectacular Cruise Ship Sea Cloud Spirit 138 m in Peterhead Bay
Moored in Peterhead harbour this morning, Cruise Ship Sea Cloud Spirit in Peterhead Bay, sail ship is 138 metres in length.
Currently the world’s largest sail ship – with LOA length 138 m (450 ft), GT 4230 tons and DWT 935 tons.
The fleet mates are Sea Cloud 1 (1931-built sail yacht, cruiser since 1979) and Sea Cloud 2 (2000-built, 3-masted barque).Sea Cloud Spirit is the world’s first sail ship with an elevator.
It was built in Vigo, Spain in 2021 and boasts 28 sails and 69 outside cabins.
Building cost : USD 100 million.
