Amazing Cruden Bay beach 2.5km in length
Cruden Bay beach sits directly next to Port Erroll Harbour, beautiful beach located not far from Peterhead.
It is a massive stretch of completely sand beach which is 2.5km in length.
This sandy beach is popular with day trippers, water sports enthusiasts, which often attracts surfers.
Parking is available either by the harbour or in the village centre. The beach can be reached from the village across a small pedestrian bridge over the river mouth which separates it.
The area is very popular with golf enthusiasts and the beach is backed by Cruden Bay Golf Club. To the north of the beach, visitors will find the ruins of Slains Castle on a cliff top.
